Visual attributions

Most visuals on GeoBusinessIQ are first-party, server-rendered SVG charts generated from our own typed data — those need no attribution. This page lists every externally-derived or design-referenced visual asset, grouped by source, with its licence, attribution, status, and usage and risk notes.

40 registered (40 verified — 13 country, 22 city · 96 candidate) · 99 rejected · 2 sources · 8 licences. Only assets marked verified are rendered on pages; candidate and rejected assets are listed here for transparency but never displayed.

Automated licence filtering

Photographic assets are sourced by an automated pipeline that queries the Wikimedia Commons API, reads structured licence metadata, and accepts only Public Domain, CC0, CC BY, and CC BY-SA files above a minimum resolution. NonCommercial, NoDerivatives, editorial-only, fair-use, all-rights-reserved, and unknown licences are rejected automatically and never downloaded. A licence-verified file becomes a candidate; it is only promoted to verified and rendered after a human reviews relevance and appropriateness.

GeoBusinessIQ only renders visual assets with machine-verifiable public-domain or compatible Creative Commons licensing metadata. Candidate and rejected assets are retained for audit but are not rendered on public pages.
